Dont sweat the small stuff!

That's what I have been telling myself lately.

If others want to act idiotic, let them. It's none of my business.

If they want to lie thru' their teeth, it's their choice.

If they want to be selfish, that's their perogative.

If they think they are so great, let them think what they want, coz before they know it, they will be brought back down to earth, with a big thud!

Just as long as "they" are not one of my kids .... because I believe in teaching my kids good values :D

Which brings me to this poem:

"LEISURE"

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

By Wm. Henry Davies

So, I am not sweating the small stuff, I am letting others be, minding my own business, which leaves me some time to stand and stare!
