Speed limit

Speed limit refers to the maximum speed that vehicles should be traveling at. I am not sure what drivers don't understand about that.

I was driving along the expressway this morning at a speed of slightly above 80km/hour. The speed limit on that particular expressway is 80. Yet I had this huge truck which had a speed limit of 60km/hour tailgating me and flashing his lights at me!! Darn!! He was committing four offences at that time:
1. Driving above his allowable speed limit.
2. Driving above the speed limit on the expressway.
3. Failing to keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of it.
4. Not keeping to the extreme left lane ( which heavy vehicles are supposed to).

How I wish I was moonlighting as a traffic police officer coz I would have given him all 4 summonses and maybe even taking away his license. It is drivers like these that make it dangerous for all other road users.

And since it is Friday, here's my TGIF joke:

A speeding motorist was caught by radar from a police helicopter in the sky. An officer pulled him over and began to issue a traffic ticket. "How did you know I was speeding?" the frustrated driver asked.
The police officer pointed somberly towards the sky.
"You mean," asked the motorist, "that even He is against me?"

I know what you meaning. It's sheer frustration when you are being tailgated by huge trucks and force to change lane WHEN they are recklessly speeding. It's the weekend. Have a good rest!

HEY! That's so mean!

Driving in busy cities can be so tough even though the roads are nicely constructed, there are simply too many impatient drivers around. Steady there huh.

Pray for me cos I'll be driving again soon after having rested for several months. Not very good at driving. :P

TGIF!
