Generation Y

The Silent generation, people born before 1946.

The Baby Boomers, people born between 1946 and 1959.

Generation X, people born between 1960 and 1979.

Generation Y, people born between 1980 and 1995.

Why do we call the last one Generation Y?

I did not know, but a caricaturist explains it eloquently:

We learn something new everyday, dont we??

Ha, ha, I got that "forward" from a friend who was born during the Baby Boomers' time sometime back.

And strange enough, I am getting more and more "forewards" and "invitations to Hi5" kind of things from these Baby Boomers and even silent generation.

SAHM, you take care too in the week ahead, with all the kids home... I never knew how overwhelming having three children is, and you're always so inspiring and encouraging with how wonderfully you manage everything!
